Abram D Hunt Jr.

Abram Davis Hunt Jr: son of Abram D. Hunt Sr. and May B. Hunt and a resident of Cut Off and Covington, Louisiana, Passed away on August 12, 2023. He is survived by his loving wife Renee Hunt; Children Abram D. Hunt III, Rachel Blanchard (Wesley), Jason Williams (Angel), and Alicia Williams: grandchildren Alexis Williams, Lyla Ford, Grey Blanchard, Clare Blanchard and Sisters Kathleen Crouchet, Linda Williams and Nancy Tankersley.

Abram was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised in St. Bernard Parish. He served honorably in the Navy. His career as an executive with Edison Chouest Offshore spanned 33 years. He was a great teacher and mentor there. Known for his wit and humor. Abram enjoyed barbecues with family, especially his grandchildren. He was a lover of music and could expand on all music genres, with complete trivia knowledge. His unending supply of arcane knowledge amazed friends and family.

There will be no memorial service per his request. Donations may be made to the American Lung Association or to St. Jude in his memory.
